Man Pleads Guilty to Olathe Woman's Death

A 46-year-old Olathe man admits in court he raped and killed his neighbor last May.
Roger Ratliff's guilty plea is part of a plea bargain that saves him from the death penalty.
Ratliff said in Miami County District Court that he strangled 21-year-old Alieghya Clark after he raped her, and then left her remains in a wooded area near Paola.
In a courtroom packed with law officers and Clark's family, Ratliff told the judge ``I'm guilty, your honor.'' He's scheduled to be sentenced November Third.
Police spent two months searching for Clark, and then Ratliff disclosed where her body was while he was jailed on another charge.
Ratliff told investigators he invited Clark to take a ride with him on May 28th. She went with him on a trip that would end in rape and murder.
