Victim's Mother Wants Rounds To Allow Execution Now
The mother of the man killed by Elijah Page and 2 other men wants Governor Rounds to reconsider his stay and go through with the execution right away.
Dottie Poage says the delay shows a lack of respect for her family because it came just hours before Page was scheduled to die.
In a written statement, Rounds said he can't imagine the pain the Poage family has endured but the decision was justified and not political.
Rounds expects Page to be put to death almost immediately after the stay of execution expires July 1st.
